Pluriannual Grant from The Nando and Elsa Peretti foundation for the realisation of the new photographic project “Of Land and Time”.
The photographer Luca Catalano Gonzaga, will travel in the Central Asia, over the next two years, for an intimate narration of places where the people lead a life closely connected with their territory and environment. The slow industrial and technological revolution has forced the inhabitants to be totally immersed in this vast rural area, agricultural and mountainous, thus developing a consolidated identity of many strong tribal values and a spiritual, almost sacred, relationship with the environment, where land and time become two essential elements.
